Malala Yousafzai is an activist for female education who was born in Pakistan, and she is also the youngest Nobel Prize laureate so far. She is known for her human rights advocacy, which is especially based on the education of children and women in her native Swat Valley in Northwest Pakistan. In this area, there was a time that the local Taliban had banned girls from going to school, and her advocacy on the issue went to an international movement. In 2014 she was selected as the Nobel Prize Laurent, which she shared with Kailash Satyarthi.
